Eastern Fisheries Adds 5 New Scallop Boats to Industry's Largest Fleet
June 2005 - Eastern Fisheries, the world's largest scallop company, announces that the company has recently completed the acquisition of five new scallop fishing vessels. The acquisitions bring the total number of Eastern's fleet to twenty-one.

With the new boats Eastern gains greater access to the North Atlantic scallop resource, of which it is already the largest harvester.

The names and sizes of the new boats are as follows: Rost, Nashira, Reflection, Polaris and Ambition.
