With 110,000 square feet of the industry's most advanced grading, processing, freezing, and cold storage capabilities, Eastern's production facilities are designed to efficiently process a large volume of scallops while maintaining the highest levels of quality and safe handling. It begins with our staff of production professionals, all of whom bring many years experience to our fresh, block freezing and IQF operations. They are supported by the newest processing technology in which we invest continuously to assure the optimal handling of your scallops. Our facilities meet the specifications required for Grade A certification and EU approval. USDC Type 1 lot inspections are performed per customer specification.

Grading
A state of the art Marel grading system, one of only 4 in the world currently in-use, is capable of grading scallops with an accuracy of 1 gram of weight.

Fresh Line
We pack thousands of pounds of fresh scallops daily for shipment to all corners of the world.

Plate/Block Freezing
An automatic packing system ensures order to order consistency. Multiple large plate freezers provide a significant freezing capacity.

IQF Line
Two high speed IQF lines are fully automated for consistent processing.

On-Site Freezer & Cold Storage
Over 60,000 square feet of frozen and refrigerated storage. This capacity allows Eastern to ship your order virtually on-demand.

Quality Assurance
Quality assurance lab conducts daily testing and product analysis. All HACCP guidelines are met or exceeded.
